Second session due to demand! Back in the days before tea bags, the art of tea leaf reading brought people together to divine their futures in the bottom of their tea cups. Fun, chatting, tea and treats were the order of the day.
Join us at Botanista for our first Very Victorian Tea Party and learn how to read your own tea leaves with Nina from Tea and Tarot.
Nina will share her knowledge of the history and origins of tea leaf reading (tasseography); cover how to choose an appropriate cup and tea leaves; how to prepare the area and the tea; as well as the reading ritual and how to interpret symbols. Tea Party size is kept to just 8 to allow for everyone to receive their own short reading from Nina practice interpreting each others’ cups.
You’ll enjoy a pot of tea and home-baked scone with jam and cream – it is a tea party after all!
Nina McMahon is an intuitive counsellor and healer with a lifetime of experience. She was raised and taught by Anglo and Irish women who passed on to her skills in tasseography (reading tea leaves), cartomancy (fortune telling with cards), dream interpretation, herbology and determining the hidden significance of natural events. Nina is also on the official top 10 listing of psychics with the World Psychic Organisation.
